What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions to discuss the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment. Alpha at St. George’s consists of eight sessions, looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’ Alpha meets on Wednesday evenings, the next course starts on 04th October with doors opening for food at 7pm. We have a short talk followed by discussion in small groups.

You can sign up at for Alpha here on our groups page, in church at the ‘Hello’ desk or by emailing hello@saintgeorgeschurch.org.uk.

Who is it for?
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.

You don’t have to come for the whole term – just pop along for the first session and see what you think. No pressure, no follow up and no charge.
